The COMETS ARE AMA MEMBERS

The Oswego County Comets RC was formed in 2005 to keep the spirit of motorcycling alive in Oswego County.

Seven founding members and the history of the original Comets was our motivation. The Oswego County Comets MC was formed in 1939, according to our documents; by a group of men returning from the WWI and WWII. Their objective was to get together and have events and rides with their group and others.

We know they disbanded in the early 60's; probably due to families and interests.

We have some great photos and history about them but are always looking for more if you know of any history to add to our vintage photo page.

The Oswego County Comets RC is an open riding club that welcomes all riders to join or to come to our events. We support the Oswego County community with our benefits and rides.

We also support other Motorcycle Organizations in our area that have similar objectives toward brotherhood and sisterhood.

"Keeping The Ride Alive" is the foundation and our chosen message to convey.

We are proudly AMA- American Motorcyclist Association certified. Please feel free to come along and ride your bike to join our riding club at our next event.
